ORIGIN: SingaporeABV: 8%
VOL: 330
STYLE: DDH Double IPA
Deep mahogany colour. Filtered, with minimal haziness. The double dry hop process is quite evident, with honey and pine on the nose.
Although the bottle promised rich fruity flavours, I was hard pressed to discern any. Slight mead-y sweetness initially, with further sharp pine sap and hops on tasting. Medium bitter finish.
One-dimensional and not very exciting.
Instead, I much preferred the tasty background bake - yogurt and wholemeal loaf with blueberries and lemon glaze
