One of the benefits of an American import is the novelty of seeing a pint bottle again. The beer itself is a collaboration with Wimbledon Brewery and old-style porter with the strength and character more typical of the new world equivalent. At 6.5% abv it was never going to be one to down by the pint and the strong, full-bodied and almost smoky flavours do make it one to savour.
