Melodic beauty and spine-bending rock
But first, beer! @obrotherbrewing The Dreamcatcher Session New England IPA. We like to think of this as The Rainmaker’s little brother – quite bold, with lots of punch but with a more approachable ABV level. Citra, Simcoe and Mandarina Bavaria hops are the key players in this New England style Session IPA - lovely grapefruit and orange balances the juicy, tropical hop flavours, finishing clean and fresh.
@karnivool_official have been a staple of the Aussie heavy scene for over a decade, and the seeds of their greatness was sowed in 2005’s debut Themata. I remember meeting Ian Kenny at the Northcote social club in Melbourne, August 2009, he was at a gig watching his mate, Ian Berney (the bassist from Birds of Tokyo) playing with a band called Sugar Army for their album launch.
Standing next to him in the crowd, beer in hand I looked over and Said "Hey Ian!" He greeted me back with a big karnivool is through. "I see more than youuuu, And I feel more than youuuu,
Your spinning me out!"
