Orchard Hop'in IPA, District Brewers Singapore

Orchard Hop'in

I'm thinking this is definitely inspired from Singapore's retail heart - Orchard Road. This road is so named long long time ago because it used to lead to fruit orchards, plantations and pepper farms before agriculture is limited mostly to the north western part of Singapore today.

The last of the 3 core beers that District Brewers is offering is this IPA. Yes, quite an apt representation and a nice tribute to Orchard road (I would have preferred NEIPA though 😁)

Poured with a pale yellow body, the pineapple mango aroma was light on the nose, not too aggressive. The taste was more bitter than sweet like a classic IPA but it's a little more manageable than I thought it would. It's dry with low moderate carbonation and the mouthfeel is a little more watery than what I would expect from an IPA.
