Paradis perdu, Sour, Mellön Brasserie

I saw collab, bourbon barrels, the beautiful colour and I knew I had to try it!! Gorgeous scarlet red colour in such a pretty glass. Light funk, grassy and fruity notes on the nose. Funkiness is not overwhelming on tongue, sour berries, woody tannins and nicely sour. The finish is where it gets really interesting for me, some funky chocolates which surprised me and a lingering taste of kaya, which I think is coconut but I have no idea how it got there 🤣

Really nice Berliner and farmhouse ale blend! Perfect for the warmer days in Montreal. Happy anniversary @mellonbrasserie!
