Paulaner Oktoberfest Bier
For my third stop of the Oktoberfest Pub Crawl, I dropped down at Ziggy Zaggy which was offering the Oktoberfest Bier from Paulaner.
This Munich lager poured with clear golden body. It was crisp, light and a little on the hoppy side of things. The aftertaste is little dry and has a lingering bitterness. After trying this, I think I sort of get the appeal of the Festbier, as it's maltier and prettier (as least for the one I tried at Paulaner SG).
Maybe just a little description about Ziggy Zaggy, it's located within a new Condominium - Kallang Riverside. The friendly security guards would let you park in the building if you say you're dining at ZZ.
The gastropub location is a little out of the way as it's not near any train stations but it's near parks and I believe a park connector? So for those taking a jog or riding a bike, can consider taking a pit stop there. I like the food menu alot as it's pretty big (including the fonts) good for people like me who are short sighted but refused to wear spectacles. π€£
The music they were playing is quite retro and the volume was just right, loud enough for you to hear but soft enough so that you can have a conversation with your buddy in the same table without exerting too much force to your lungs. π
