Pineapple Express IPA by Tiny Rebel Brewing Co

Tiny Rebel is known for being experimental and they've produced some incredibly good beer including this Pineapple Express IPA. This one is a collaboration of Tiny Rebel from South Wales and Polly's Brew Co. in North Wales. The hops are the soul of an IPA, and the concept behind Pineapple Express is to be as juicy as possible – my assumption based on the name. So, it’s fruity hops cascade, mosaic and chinook used for this IPA and it works well with pineapple; the hops enhance the fruitiness and the sweetness of pineapple balances out the bitterness from the hops. The flavour of pineapple stays through all the drinking process but isn't overpowering. As a non-IPA drinker, I surprisingly like it a lot and am inclined to stock my fridge up with a few more. Be careful with this one, it's smooth and sweet, easy to forgot it's 6.2% after all.
