Stout season is upon us!!! A rare barrel aged small canned stout brewed and produced in Munich. Traditional styles are so popular here that craft styles like BA stouts or sours are such a rare and welcoming sight to see. Pours thin, however, the aroma is anything but. Coffee and rich rich chocolates are abundant from the first sniff, mixed with a subtle sweet bourbon note. Taste is dominated by delicious dark coffee and bitter roasted malts, the sweet vanilla from the bourbon barrels are most apparent towards the end, finishing the delicious juice and lingering around. Abv is not detectable in this coffee delight. Wished it was slightly thicker and oilier! A surprisingly gassy drink.
