Slang Du Jour Marionberry Cobbler by Drekker Brewing Company

Slang Du Jour Marionberry Cobbler by Drekker Brewing Company
Style: Pastry Sour

ABV: 6.8%
My rating: 3.5/5

A gimmicky brew with marionberry & plum, cinnamon, lactose, brown sugar, vanilla beans and granola.

Aroma reflects what said above, promising sweetness and juicy berries. Pours a dark purple, pulpy, fizzy, in-tune head with low retention.

Low sourness (biggest disappointment here), then blackberries (AKA marionberries), vanilla, sweetness, some cinnamon and lactose. Sweetness doesn't overdo.

Creamy with no carbonation. A smoothie.

It does taste good, but from a "sour" I expect at least to be sour, not just the (tasty) gimmicks.
