The next album is so good we needed a another post about with a different spin, and one that is hugely popular and its amazing track “No One Knows” being the most popular track of the @triple_j #hottest100 of 2002.

The album is Songs for the Deaf and we are not deaf to the brilliance of Joshua Homme and this album. The album is a loosely constructed concept album, taking the listener on a drive from L.A to Joshua Tree, tuning into radio stations along the way, which are radio stations that are mostly Spanish or Religious.

The idea for a concept album was one that Joshua Homme was against, however bass player Nick Oliveri loved the idea and eventually the concept was born. Also, contrary to popular belief, Dave Grohl was not a guest drummer on the album. While he was drumming for @queensofthestoneage, he actually put the @foofighters on hiatus after invited by Homme in October 2000 to join the band.

Grohl delayed the release of the album “One By One” to October so he could go on the road touring this album. When Grohl returned to the @foofighters, @officialdanzigverotik drummer Joey Castillo joined in August 2002.

A concept we can't get enough of and a beer that will never go on hiatus is the @sab.brewery The Apprentice Session Ale. A full flavoured hoppy brew, we just love the flavour of the brew and it goes so well with the brew.
