The next pick comes from the best rock to come out of Seattle, the absolutely brilliant Nirvana, the band we think as the band of a generation. The album pick is their compilation release “Incesticide”.
 
The album is made up of B-sides, demos, outtakes, cover versions, radio broadcast recordings and the track “Sliver”, which was a non album release from 1990. These tracks were originally going to be released by Sub Pop records, with the band giving the album the cynical title “Cash Cow”. The album was eventually released by Geffen Records, after the recordings were sold by Sub Pop on the condition that the band would create and approve the release of an album by Christmas 1992.
 
The first several pressings of the album contained a statement from Kurt Cobain against racism, misogyny and homophobia. “If any of you in any way hate homosexuals, people of different color, or women, please do this one favor for us—leave us the fuck alone! Don't come to our shows and don't buy our records.”

The album was well received, despite not having any new tracks on it. In a review for AllMusic, music critic Stephen Thomas Erlewine said that the song "Aneurysm" was "perhaps the greatest single song the group ever recorded”. Incesticide was released on December 14, 1992, in the United Kingdom, and on December 15, 1992, in the United States, and contains session recordings from 1988 – 1991.

The beer is a smooth and clean brew, and its a real winning brew from one of our favourite breweries.
