Sunset Sherbet, Sour, Garage Project

Sunset Sherbet | Garage Project
Milkshake Sour | ABV 8.0%

Pours thin, a juicy & hazy golden hue that looks jammy but isn't. This is more of a sour IPA for me than a milkshake sour. You've got the mango, pink guava and golden peaches in the mix but it isn't a juicy fruitiness, it's a dry fruity sour with a smooth grassy bitter finish instead (hence the sour IPA opinion for this beer). Not sure where I'm getting wine notes, but there's this white wine base that probably had fruits soaked in it for ages that created this dry fruit profile all round too. I'm fine with the subtle dank!

Has a bit of creaminess to it, reminds me of yoghurt/milk/lactose-based candies - Cloud 9 creme flavoured candies and Ovaltine malt candies. What a tropical treat this one was.

This will def be a balanced sour to inch hop heads a lil closer to the sour category if they don't want anything too sweet/tart/crazy experimental (and grow my lil sour circle hurhurhur) and still enjoy some hops with it.

Featured hops: Nelson Sauvin & Peacharine 🫶🏻
