Tanjong Rimau Yuzu Nutmeg Witbier, Brewerkz Singapore x Sentosa Island, 4.85% ABV

Β Β

I must emphasize again that I had not been a fan of wheat beers. But the recent uptake of this beer style in my stash has been starting to make me rethink my take on it especially after trying the Gose sister style (which in some people's opinion was drinking sweat beer; but haters gotta hate right?)

This turned out to be a rather good take in my opinion, the yuzu aroma was very distinct and the nutmeg additional as a spice add on gave a nice 'minty' aftertaste. Not sure if it's the nutmeg or just the carbonation, the mouthfeel was a little more slimy (not in the bad sense of it) than normal. The only 'complain' that I have is the body does remind me of the typical color of our local beach waters. LOL.

So, there's a competition going on for this few weeks with the possibility to win a daycation from sentosa, so please don't mind me posting myself enjoying this carbon neutral beer in the last photo!
