Finally checked out Tapout the previous weekend. They've a good selection of beers and located in the heart of katong where there's no lack of good food. For the bar crawlers, there are also several other craft beer bars nearby, including Good Intentions.

1. In search of brightness 🔍😎☀️

Pours out a deep golden. Hints of caramel, roasted barley, and biscuit at the start. The hops then take over and fade into a nice maltiness. Like with whisky, you can still taste the sweetness of the beer from sucking on your gums. Mmm.

2. Nautiloid 🦑🍊🦑

I've tried another milkshake IPA from the good folks at Wander Beyond before, and couldn't pass pass up on this one. Smells like Fanta orange, tastes like a delicate screwdriver. Mouthfuls of mandarin, as you can see from the intense sunny orange colour. Great mouthfeel, low in hops and carbonation. At 12%, this is such a smooth and easy drink, you wouldn't know what hit you.

Fun fact: According to Untappd, the name 'Nautiloid' is inspired by the nautiloid sea creature which the brewery thinks looks like the cephalopod version of a peeled orange!
