Topazolite | Bighand Bros. Beers
German Pilsner | ABV 5.0%
My father and I had a bonding session over Bighand Bros. beers just because I dragged him to the Japanese butcher shop and he deserves it too (pls treat your dads to beers to whenever)
Pours a straw yellow, pretty light & clean with a muted bitterness that is quite smooth & subtle, making this Pilsner very crisp & crushable. I'll have this any time if I weren't drinking sours (better if I was in Kyoto ha).
His unfiltered review:
"Wa quite pleasant, nice hoppy bitterness, not overly hoppy like some of the beers you give me, this is how a beer should taste like, a proper beer. This is on the drier side, not too overpowering, crisp lor and refreshing. This should go well with steamed seafood like prawns and crabs, maybe sashimi too."
Something I just realized on Bighand Bros. website, they show the "date of birth" of each beer on their individual product listings, cute!
Look at my aspiring Cicerone, whether he knows it or not 🤣
