Upside Dawn
I briefly looked up the companies behind this beer and also the one I had the day before and it seems like the consensus is that multiple adjustments to the traditional beer brewing methods is needed in order to produce their award winning products. This differs from what I've shared previously which is still considered harsh and result in an inferior beer which is not as widely accepted as these ones that I have tried.
Athletic Brewing started out in 2018 and carries a few flagship beers along with seasonals that are all non-alcoholic. From some articles, it seems that they dominate with a 61% share of the US non-alcoholic craft beer market.
This ale opened with pineapple and passion fruit aroma. Poured with a straw hazy body, the taste was light, refreshing with an astringent after taste and very spring water like.
Overall, it's quite enjoyable but I can't help it to feel that something is missing from the taste; something I would like to describe as having a sports drink without the glucose.
