Wihenstephaner Vitus by Brauerei Weihenstephan
From the standard hefeweizen throught to dunkel, I usually like the dry bitterness of all wheat beer and so this seemed like a curiosity definitely worth a try. At almost 8% it definitely packs more of a punch than the standard weizens but this is nicely tempered with a fruity acidity on the nose and first tasting. There's definitely a sweeter and more complex flavour than the usual cereal dryness and this makes it deceptively smooth and easy to drink.
