I had the pleasure of having NZ’s Black Robin Gin again today. In the spirit of exploration, good friends of ours got us a bottle of this favourite spirit some two years ago. The bottle itself is stunning and the gin is made out of pure traditional NZ botanicals. Given the huge trend to pimping your gin, lime and lemon wedges were added to enhance the taste experience. I also learnt something new today! The black robin, which image sits majestically on the face of the bottle, is now an endangered species. A percentage of the profits from the sale of this bottle of gin goes towards preservation of this beautiful bird for future generations. It only means we need to have more of it! 😂 Any excuse for more tipple!!
