As we are still in a semi-lockdown mode, I have spent some evenings rummaging my shelves to see which gin to have. First world problems!
And I stumbled upon this gem tucked far behind! A true small batch and handcrafted, this gin speaks for itself!
Very dry on the nose, it has aromas of zesty citrus, with a hint of bitterness. What I thought hovering around the fringes was hints of wildflowers. This is a complex mix of citrus and floral notes, with tinges of herbal doses evident. A dry finish with a long, lingering aftertaste.
As usual, I had it with soda and garnished with dehydrated grapefruit wheel.
I have to be honest, this was purchased years ago on a whim, simply because the embossed design on the bottle was pleasingly attractive! A great find indeed!
