It’s a Swedish number tonight!

Produced by Mackmyra’s Distillery, Sweden’s first whisky distillery, this is a London dry.

What’s lovely about this gin is that is contains a whole host of botanicals which I love, particularly, juniper, Ceylon cinnamon, cardamom, elderflower and raspberry. All hand selected organic botanicals!

A very citrus aroma meets you when you pop the bottle open. To taste, whilst citrus notes are at the fore, there’s some sweetness which emanates from the vanilla. Ends beautifully with a spicy finish.

An extremely well balanced gin, complex yet smooth.

Although the recommended serve was with a tonic, in my usual style of wanting to taste the gin in its full glory, I had it with soda and a slice of lemon.
