Archie Rose Includes First Age Statement Whisky As Part Of Single Cask Series Third Batch

The third batch of Archie Rose's Single Cask Series sees the concurrent unveiling of its first-ever single malt with an age statement.
The six year old expression is part of a trio of rare single malt whiskies hand-selected from more than 35,000 casks.
Toasted Amber - 54% ABV (MSRP AUS$279.99)
Distilled from toasted amber malt and aged in an American oak ex-Bourbon casks, the expression is said to feature aromas of passionfruit, cookies and cream ice cream, and jelly beans. On the palate, it should reveal layers of pineapple, cinnamon muffins, and Maltesers.
Six-Year-Old - 50% ABV (MSRP AUS$349.99)
After being matured for more than six years in an Australian apera fortified wine casks, this expression is presented as having notes of dark chocolate-covered figs, raspberry jam, and pecan pie, with a palate featuring in particular maple syrup, French pastries, and delicate floral aromas.
A third undeclared single malt will be available exclusively for the hospitality trade.
