Bruichladdich Pays Homage To Legendary Still Series Of Early 2000's With Bruichladdich Greener Still

Islay's Bruichladdich is known for a great number of legendary bottlings that it's made over the course of its life, and one in particular that ardent fans have cherished is that of the Bruichladdich Still Series of the early 2000's!
As a quick refresher, the Bruichladdich Still Series was a trio of releases that were designed to showcase a unique range of maturation styles, and as many legendary Bruichladdich whiskies have, would come in striking opaque bottles of different colours. The three expressions were the Blacker Still, the Redder Still and the Golder Still.
Bruichladdich Blacker Still: Distilled in 1986 and released in 2006, this 20 Year Old single malt was aged in active Oloroso Sherry casks.
Bruichladdich Redder Still: Distilled in 1984 and released in 2007, this 22 Year Old single malt was aged in red wine casks from Chateau Lafleur.
Bruichladdich Golder Still: Distilled also in 1984 but released in 2008, this 23 Year Old single malt was aged in an experimental squat American oak Bourbon cask that was specially created to increase wood contact.

And so now in 2026, as part of a 25th Anniversary Limited Release, Bruichladdich is bringing a 4th part of the Still Series - the Bruichladdich Greener Still.
With the tagline "Connecting Land, Community and Dram", the new 15 Year Old Bruichladdich Greener Still is set to be bottled at 51.6% ABV, although what unique maturation was used remains unknown!
