Beloved Islay distillery Bunnahabhain has ready for us two Feis Ile 2024 expressions already in preparation for the big annual Islay festival where fans of the distilleries on Islay make the pilgrimage and come together to celebrate the region's distilleries!

For making the long trip, Islay's distilleries have always ceremoniously prepared special expressions to reward its fans.

Bunnahabhain has already teased out what those two expressions will be - a Bunnahabhain Feis Ile 2024 14 Year Old Ruby Port Cask Finish and a Bunnahabhain Feis Ile 2024 23 Year Old Triple Sherry Wood Finish.

Bunnahabhain Feis Ile 2024 14 Year Old Ruby Port Cask Finish

The Bunnahabhain Feis Ile 2024 14 Year Old Ruby Port Cask Finish is described as being "This delectable dram delivers big hits of dark berries with a lingering spicy finish." on the front label, as well as having Sweet, Spicy and Unpeated as its Taste Profile, bottled at 58.7% ABV.

"Crafted exclusively for the Islay Festival - Feis Ile 2024, this unique Bunnahabhain was originally filled into Bourbon casks on 26/5/2009 before being transferred into Ruby Port Hogsheads on the 17/11/2020 to finish. Bottled in 2024, this results in flavours of rich candied berries and stoned fruits, synonymous with Ruby Port, complementing our creamy and malty Bunnahabhain spirit."

Bunnahabhain Feis Ile 2024 23 Year Old Triple Sherry Wood Finish

The second expression from the Islay distillery is the Bunnahabhain Feis Ile 2024 23 Year Old Triple Sherry Wood Finish featuring the use of Amontillado, Manzanilla and Oloroso Sherry casks, said to be "A combination of the best sherry cask finishes, makes this a sumptuous sherry full dram." with Nutty, Creamy and Floral as a Taste Profile. It is bottled at 53.3% ABV, and is limited to 4,002 bottles.
