Chichibu US Edition 2026 Pays Tribute To Minneapolis And Is Also Perhaps The Most Befuddling Yet!

Each year, we eagerly anticipate the release of the various city editions of Chichibu, wondering what the theme of the year is, and for the most part we've been pretty clear headed on what it is - yet, the Chichibu US Edition 2026 has finally stumped us!

And so when we got a sneak peek at the new label - and as cute as it may be - we certainly could not off hand tell what it was a reference to.

With some deep thinking, we first figured that the city in the backdrop was Minnesota's Minneapolis, with its famous Stone Arch Bridge, yet we couldn't quite explain the two whisky loving canines upfront and also that curious little detail of the crown over the "The US Edition" text.

We're still not sure, but after even more extended thinking (in truth we really just furiously Googled away, with AI being of next to no help at all), we've come to conclude that the two dogs are in reference to the city's dog friendliness, and the font... could it be a reference to the legendary singer Prince, whose hometown is Minneapolis?

Well, if you've got better guesses, do let us know!

Otherwise, the only other thing we have to offer is that the Chichibu US Edition 2026 is set to be bottled at 52.5% ABV!
