Clase Azul has officially opened its first ever luxury hospitality concept, the Clase Azul Los Cabos, in San José del Cabo, Mexico. The Clase Azul Los Cabos was launched by the brand’s hospitality arm, Clase Azul Destinations, to serve as an offline space for the brand to deliver novel, sensorial experiences to its consumers.

Visitors to Clase Azul Los Cabos can expect to find a dedicated tequila and mezcal bar called the Clase Azul El Bar, as well as three restaurants and a shopping boutique, where rare, limited edition bottles will be sold exclusively. The hospitality concept will be located at The Shoppes at Palmilla in San Jose del Cabo.

Completing the trio of restaurants at Clase Azul Los Cabos are La Terraza, serving Baja (Mexican-Mediterranean fusion) Californian cuisine; A Taste of Culture, an immersive dining experience; and a six-seat Omakase bar – all helmed by in-house chef Iván Arias.

Those keen to book a table at any of these restaurants can make their reservations here.

The opening of Clase Azul Los Cabos also commemorates the brand’s 25th anniversary, and coincides with the launch of a new Clase Azul Dia de Muertos Limited Edition Colores decanter. This decanter is part of a series designed to showcase the unique aspects of Día de Muertos, or Day of the Dead, a holiday observed in Mexico.

The decanter features a hand-painted, silver plated ornament, said to take 12 days to create. As for the tequila itself? It’s an Anejo-style tequila aged for 22 months in Bourbon casks and finished for six months in Martinique rum casks.

There will be 6,500 decanters sold worldwide at the RRP of US$1,050.
