Four Roses Showcases Four of Ten Unique Whiskey Recipes In New Single Barrel Line
Famed distiller Four Roses is introducing three new expressions: OBSF, OESK, and OESO.
Bottled at a robust 50% ABV, these new releases join their flagship OBSV and simultaneously marks the 20th anniversary of its single barrel whiskey.
These single barrel whiskeys, aged between seven and nine years, aim to be the first set to showcase the diversity of Four Roses' ten unique recipes.
Following the release of the inaugural collection this year, Kirin-owned Four Roses plans to annually introduce new sets of single barrel whiskeys. Each set will have four bottlings each, cycling through the entire range of recipes alongside their flagship offering.
Four Roses Bourbon is unique among distilleries because it combines two different mash bills (grain recipes) with five distinct yeast strains, creating a total of ten unique bourbon recipes.
The distillery is also renowned for its portfolio of only four core expressions. Notably, it introduced the Small Batch Select in 2019, its first permanent addition in twelve years.
This year’s Single Barrel Collection includes:
