Glenfiddich Adds 1987 Vintage To Archive Collection

Glenfiddich's annual Archive Collection release will see a 1987 vintage added to the current line-up of 1973 and 1984.

The new 1987 vintage has been matured in American oak refill hogshead and bottled at 53.7% ABV, with a total outturn of just 75 bottles that will be released at the distillery itself upon pre-order during the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival happening Saturday 29th April 2023.

The new 35 Year Old family cask expression was distilled on Christmas day 1987, offering "notes of ripe pears, Granny Smith apples and cotton candy" and the "perfect balance of fresh, sticky, and spiced". It is priced at 3,700 GBP.
