William Grant & Sons has unveiled the second 16 Year Old Glenfiddich single malt produced in partnership with the Aston Martin Formula One team.
The 2026 expression draws inspiration from a collaboration between Glenfiddich Malt Master Brian Kinsman and Aston Martin F1’s Managing Technical Partner, Adrian Newey.
The expression is said to be ‘mellow and silky smooth’, with a ‘creamy, buttery toffee sweetness’, with flavors of caramelised cane sugar and dry oak tannin.
The five casks used to age the whisky are First-Fill Bourbon barrels, Port Pipes, Oloroso Sherry casks, Wine casks and Fino Sherry butts.
The brand has said the expression is ‘shaped by a shared belief that exceptional performance is defined not only by what can be seen, but by the invisible detail working beneath the surface’.
The Scotch brand had earlier introduced two collaborative expressions last August, pairing a 16-year-old release with a 19-year-old global travel retail exclusive.
The Glenfiddich & Aston Martin Formula One Team 16-Year-Old Limited Edition Release No.2 is bottled at 43% ABV and will be available to purchase from UK retailers including Selfridges and Master of Malt at an MSRP of £75 (US$101).
