Glenmorangie Readies 23 Year Old Single Malt In Anticipation For The 2026 Year Of The Horse
We're only midway into 2025, and already Glenmorangie is ready to usher in the Year of the Horse in 2026!
It appears that Glenmorangie has a 2002 distilled single malt at the ready, aged in a combination of Bourbon and Sauternes wine casks, which will be bottled at 23 Year Old, 46% ABV, with just 388 bottles to go.
The Year of the Horse is of course part of the Chinese Zodiac that tracks the years in a 12-year repeat cycle, each commemorating an animal that featured in the Chinese lore documenting a celestial race of the zodiac animals - with 2025 being the Year of the Snake.
The Year of the Horse is typically associated with strength, independence, ambition and free spirit. Folks born in the Year of the Horse are believed to be positive in outlook, possessing of leadership qualities and having the ability to attract attention. 2014 was the last time it was the Year of the Horse, followed by next year's 2026.
