Grey Goose's Altius Made From Alpine Water Now Available In Singapore

A cult favourite vodka, Grey Goose is releasing its latest innovative expression - the Grey Goose Altius - in Singapore.

The latest release draws inspiration from the French Alps, where it uses a -24 degree glacial filtration system to produce Altius.

If you're in Singapore, guests of MO Bar at the Mandarin Oriental Singapore will be amongst the first to try the latest Grey Goose Altius at the bar's Shuckin & Stirrin evenings on Tuesdays. Starting from 11 March 2025, from 5-8pm guests can slurp on a dozen oysters with free flow Martinis, and have the option to upgrade their Martinis to Grey Goose Altius for an addition $38++, and to make it even more memorable, guests will also get a complimentary caviar bump that pairs with the mineral notes of the Grey Goose Altius.

“As the quintessential French vodka, it was an obvious choice for GREY GOOSE to draw inspiration for our next great innovation from one of the most admired earthly wonders in the country,... For Altius, we worked to develop a liquid with processes reminiscent of the rare phenomena that naturally occur at the high-altitude temperatures in the Alps to bottle the glacial smoothness that the mountains are admired for, capturing this alongside the soft minerality of the alpine water.” says Grey Goose Cellar Master Francois Thibault who was in Singapore in late February for the release.

Made with French winter wheat, and for the first time blended with spring water from the French Alps, the Grey Goose Altius is a limited release. Digging into the Grey Goose Altius craftsmanship, the expression was designed to apply the natural effects of high-altitude crystallisation that happens as intense glacial temperatures which in turn created an incredibly smooth vodka. Further adding to the uniqueness of the expression, the alpine water used comes from the clouds above the Western European peaks which then make their way through crystalline rocks to flow into this pristine, pure alkaline aquifer. It is then blended in, with the Altius filtered at -24 degrees Celsius.

"On the palate, GREY GOOSE Altius is best described as complex with delicate alpine minerality, soft green apple notes and a unique earthy undertone. With design elements at the punt of the bottle that mirror the windswept peaks of the great mountain range, the GREY GOOSE Altius bottle, and the liquid within, is a testament to unmatched craftsmanship and the unfaltering power of nature."

Every batch of Altius is reviewed by Cellar Master Thibault himself, and then hand-bottled and produced in a limited rum with each bottle individually numbered. It can be best enjoyed neat, deeply chilled, or over ice.

The new Grey Goose Altius will be available at the following bars in Singapore:

1880; HighHouse, Nova; CÉ LA VI Singapore; The Whisper Room; Dashi Go-Go; Martini Bar; BRIX; Marcy’s; MO Bar, Mandarin Oriental, Singapore; Sushi Samba; Baia.
