• Havana Club is releasing a limited 1,000 bottle run of a commemorative Don Navarro edition, paying tribute to the late first master of Cuban rum, whose achievements included the creation of the Havana Club 7 in the 1970s.

• It is bottled at 40% ABV, made from a collection of aged rums from Havana Club's reserves, including the base of Centenario, created by Navarro more than 40 years ago.

• It offers a nose of dried fruit, honey and bitter chocolate, leading to flavours of nuts, spices, chocolate, tobacco and coffee.

• Available in Cuba for RRP US$125 from October 2022, and will be sold exclusively through online retailer The Whisky Exchange from November 2022, priced at an RRP of US$146.

Havana Club is releasing a highly limited 1,000-bottle special edition Havana Club Don Navarro, which looks to pay tribute to the late José Pablo Navarro Campa, who held the title of "primer maestro del ron Cubano" or first master of Cuban rum. 

Don Navarro was a revolutionary figure in the creation of Cuban rums, having spent 50 years in shaping the category, marked by achievements such as the creation of the Havana Club 7 in the 1970s using continuous ageing techniques.
