Havana Club's Iconica Collection Closes Out With Unión, Sixth & Final Expression
Havana Club has unveiled the Unión, an extra-aged rum that is the sixth (and final) release in the Icónica collection.
Earlier editions included the Don Navarro, Gran Reserva 15 Años, Máximo Extra Añejo, Selección de Maestros, and Tributo 2025.
The expression is a blend of four distinct aged rums drawn from the distillery’s private reserves, leaning on Cuba’s tropical climate for dynamic natural maturation. A select portion undergoes secondary aging and final blending in finishing casks to deepen its flavor profile.
The Icónica Unión is said to open with notes of caramel, honey, and dried fruits, after which one gets toasted wood, citrus peel, and delicate tobacco.
The brand has said the bottling was specifically created to complement the rich, complex profile of fine Cuban cigars.
Housed in the Icónica collection's signature decanter, the expression’s sculpted hourglass silhouette and gold detailing pay homage to contemporary luxury and Cuban prestige.
Its box is also made entirely of cardboard, a move intended to show the brand’s commitment to sustainable design.
Bottled at 40% ABV, the Havana Club Icónica Unión is available globally with an MSRP of €350 (US$395).
