Hermitage Cognac is launching a new limited edition cognac, the Hermitage Siècle d'Or 100 Year Old, a vintage expression that had been aged for 100 years in Limousin oak barrels in Cognac's Grande Champagne’ region.
This expression, named "Siècle d’Or" in reference to a golden century of French history during which it spent aging, is made from ugni blanc grape variety in the region around Lignières Sonneville. It was distilled in traditional Alembic Charentais stills and aged for one hundred years in oak casks and kept in damp cellars.
