Highland Park Collaborates With Culinary Artist Laila Gohar For Between You And I Series

Highland Park first debuted its Between You And I series in 2025, with the goal of introducing a new approach to whisky tasting, and so rather than couch traditional tasting notes, the Orkney distillery has collaborated with a selection of luminaries - who will be revealed as each release is announced - to reinterpret its whisky in their own medium.
The first in the series was three-Michelin starred chef Bjorn Frantzen who described the whisky through cherished memories all across his life, from his childhood spent in his grandmother's kitchen to his graffiti spraying teenage years - but that's not all, it was also the first time that Highland Park had used virgin Swedish oak to age its whiskies!
The release ultimately came in the form of two versions - a 16 Year Old global release, and a 17 Year Old "Journeys" which was released via Duty Free.

Artist Laila Gohar.
In this second edition to Highland Park's Between You And I series, we'll see a collaboration with Egyptian born New York based culinary artist Laila Gohar, who is best known for her immersive food-based installations and sensory dining experiences, having collaborated with Prada, Hermes, Perrier Jouet and Sotheby's in the past.
Thus far we're only let on that this new release will be a 17 Year Old that's bottled at 47.5% ABV.
Stay tuned for more!
