T&T Toyama is Japan's first independent bottler of Japanese whiskies and was started as a collaboration between Saburomaru Distillery's founder, Takahiko Inagaki, and a whisky expert, Mr. Shimono.
The independent bottler is releasing a 2019 Saburomaru single cask at cask strength, aged for 3 years in an ex-Bourbon barrel. This expression has a total outturn of 208 bottlings and features a smoky flavor with a peating level of 50ppm. It was bottled at 61% ABV.
It features on its label an illustration of the Saburomaru Distillery, created by a whisky lover and illustrator, Mr. Cora.
