Johnnie Walker Vault, and designer Olivier Rousteing have released the second expression in their ongoing collaboration, this time producing "The Couture Blend" a whisky conceived as a homage to personal evolution, creative tension, and fearless artistry.

It follows the success of The Couture Expression, the first release earlier this year from the duo under the Johnnie Walker Vault luxury platform.

True to fashion, its unique profile blends some of Scotland’s most experimental modern whiskies with vintage and "ghost" whiskies from long-closed distilleries.

The whisky's release is timed perfectly with Rousteing’s 40th birthday. To honor his personal progress, Master Blender Dr. Emma Walker included several whiskies of at least 40 years old in the blend.

Walker selected just 10 whiskies from the Johnnie Walker Vault – an exquisite liquid library of 500 rare and exceptional whiskies, personally curated and rotated from the very best of the 10 million casks of Scotch available.

The blend includes whiskies from the defunct Port Dundas and Caledonian distilleries, layered further with trailblazing whiskies from the '80s and '90s, such as Benrinnes, Cragganmore, and Cameronbridge. The profile is completed with contemporary, experimental expressions from the last two decades, including malts from Cardhu, Roseisle, and Teaninich.

Alongside the expression, Rousteing also presents The Couture Flask, a jewel-like refillable flask that holds 10ml of the luxury Scotch.

A structural and luxe mixed metal gold and silver flask set on a removable chain, the limited edition statement piece will launch alongside The Couture Blend crystal decanter and is available exclusively in London, retailing at USD$500.

As a rare collector's piece, only 1,500 individually numbered crystal decanters of The Couture Blend were crafted globally. For Singapore, availability is limited to just 39 bottles, sold exclusively at Marina Bay Sands and The Whisky Distillery with an MSRP of SGD$3,700.
