Kanosuke Distillery is back at it with another hot distillery exclusive - this time a Cognac cask finished Japanese single malt.

Distillery Exclusive #005 was distilled in 2018 using unpeated malt and all three of Kanosuke's pot stills, and then aged for 3 years (33 months) in bourbon barrels, before being subsequently matured in Cognac barrels for another 1 year and 2 months. This is the first time Kanosuke has released a Cognac matured single malt. 

As with each distillery exclusive, this will be bottled at 200ml and a 55% ABV, and will retail for 3,960 Yen (of US$27) via lottery.

The lottery will be held on the distillery's website from 28th October to 31st October, with winners notified via email on 7th November 2022.
