Ki One Goes Full Korean With First Ki One Korean Batch Fully Made Of Local Korean Ingredients Expressing True Locality
What makes anything fully local - the full use of local ingredients and craftsmanship of course! That is - as many argue - the purest form of expressing terroir.
South Korea's Ki One has now unveiled its first Ki One Korean Batch, which comes in two expressions - Singal and Tteokgal.
These two expressions are the first instance of a Korean single malt whisky made fully with local ingredients - Gunsan malted barley, Namyangju water, Korean yeast, and aged in native Korean oak casks, and finally bottled in Yeoju ceramic bottles crafted to pay homage to the copper still!
Both expressions are bottled at cask strength, and of course without colouring and chill-filtering.
