Perhaps one of the biggest advantages whiskymakers outside of Scotland or the US have is that virtually any cask you could imagine can be used to age their whiskies - and given how much we all love coffee, it's then sheer common sense that Korean distillery Ki One (Three Societies) has collaborated with Hypebeans Coffee to produce a Coffee Cask Whisky!

The Hypebeans x Ki One Coffee Cask Whisky is said to be three years in the making and was made using casks that were seasoned with premium coffee, resulting in a whisky that delivers a smooth finish with a rich aroma.

And whilst that sounds incredibly exciting, it's worth noting that this special release is only made available to bars and restaurants in South Korea!

Well, that just makes it one more reason to visit South Korea! Koreans count yourselves so lucky!
