One of Laphroaig's most beloved annual releases is the Cairdeas (pronounced car-duhss) expression which is a celebration of the Islay distillery's many friendships. This coming year is extra special for the Cairdeas as it's been 30 years since Laphroaig first founded Friends of Laphroaig.

2024's Laphroaig Cairdeas expression will be titled Cask Favourites, and is a 10 Year Old expression that is said to be an ode to two of the distillery's well-loved releases - the Laphroaig Triple Wood and the Laphroaig PX.

The new 10 Year Old Laphroaig Cairdeas Cask Favourites is aged in ex-bourbon and quarter casks, before a final finishing in PX casks that has created an expression that tastes "rich, deep and indulgent with intense sweet peat smoke, dried fruits and crystallised ginger notes".

It is bottled at 52.4% ABV.
