Jamaica's Long Pond is back and up and running - they've even got their second official bottling ready. Long Pond first inaugurated their reopening with an ITP expression, and now their second expression with be a 2003 VRW.
The new 2003 VRW (Vale Royal Wedderburn) was distilled in 2003 using the John Dore copper still, and then fully aged in Jamaica for 18 years in charred American oak barrels, before being bottled at full proof of 60% ABV.

Official Tasting Note
Color
This rum has a beautiful and dazzling honey gold color.
Aroma
Very characteristic oak notes, fruity, spicy and a hint of vanilla complete a magnificent bouquet.
Taste
Enjoy a fine and sweet tasting rum, elegantly balanced with a lingering finish.
A total of only 52 bottles of the new 2003 VRW will be released, limited to France.
