Maker's Mark has unveiled The Keepers Release, the latest addition to the distiller's Wood Finishing Series.

The Keepers Release was said to be inspired by the Star Hill Farm warehouse team, a team responsible for making sure every barrel of Maker’s Mark matures consistently according to the founders’ taste vision.

Introduced in 2019, the Maker's Mark Wood Finishing Series features unique whiskeys crafted through a wood stave-finishing technique, designed to amplify the bourbon's inherent characteristics. This particular expression comes shortly after last year’s The Heart Release. 

Matured for more than six years in hand-rotated barrels, the expression is said to display notes of rich seasoned wood, brûlée sugar, tobacco, dried dark fruit and roasted sweetness.

It is bottled at 54.6% ABV and is now available in the US with a suggested retail price of US$74.99.
