Mars Iwai is so named after Kiichiro Iwai, a pioneer in not just helping establish Mars' whisky presence, but was also formative in the Japanese whisky story, in helping usher in Japanese whisky distilling.

The new Mars Iwai Rye Style Whisky is bottled at a higher proof of 50% ABV, and is a bold blend of American Rye.
