Mars' IPA Cask Finish has always been quite the hit, especially in Highballs where it gives off a light peachy aroma with a zestiness.

Well, Mars knows whats up and is again releasing their popular IPA Cask Finish for the Komagatake brand of whiskies made in the Shinshu Distillery in Nagano.

Like previous releases, this uses Mars' own Minami Shinshu IPA beer which is just next door to the Mars distillery.

"It has a refreshing citrus and herbal scent derived from hops, a clear sweetness reminiscent of grapefruit, and a sharp bitter and spicy aftertaste, making it an excellent match with a highball."

It'll be bottled at 52% ABV, in-line with previous years.
