Matusalem, which started out in Cuba and is now produced in the Dominican Republic, is celebrating its 150th anniversary with the Sublime bottling.
The liquid contained is a blend of 20 Year Old solera rum (aged in ex-Bourbon casks) and 10 Year Old single cask rum aged in a single sherry oak cask from Jerez, Spain.
The decanter is handcrafted by Vista AlegreTM, a century-old glassmaker, complete with a decanter and crystal stopper.

Aroma
Oak wood, dried fruits, vanilla, blackcurrant, notes of tobacco and cocoa.
Taste
Smooth and rich, with flavors of oak, caramel and red fruits and a hint of cocoa.
Finish
Long, with a smokiness of oak wood, dried fruits and tobacco.
The 40% ABV expression comes in a 50cl format and is priced at 1,745 EUR.
