Famed Champagne house Moët & Chandon is celebrating their 280th anniversary with a new cuvée - the Collection Impériale Création No. 1.

Its inaugural release will be an amultilayered champagne that is a blend of seven vintages. The Champagne maker will unveil a new Création expression every two years leading up to its 300th anniversary - as they say, 300 is the new 30.

A total of 5,000 bottles will be released as part of the inaugural launch, with a composition of five reserve vintages aged in oak from 2012, 2010, 2008, 2006 and 2000, as well as bottle-aged 2004 and 2013 vintages.

Part of the launch of the inaugural Création No. 1 will be a collaboration with contemporary American artist Daniel Arsham, who will create a limited edition Collection Impériale Création No. 1 bottle totalling just 85 pieces in his classic chipped marble aesthetique.
