The incredibly uber-smoky Octomore looks slated to have its 15 series ready for release in 2024 - that's 15.1, 15.2 and 15.3 to look forward to.

Octomore is produced as part of a trio in the Bruichladdich lineup that goes up in peat levels (measured by phenol parts per million) from Bruichladdich to Port Charlotte and then Octomore right at the very highest tiers of smokiness.

Every year we've been treated to a slew of expressions from Octomore that goes up numerically annually, with the 14 series out in 2023.

Octomore 15.1, 5 Year Old, Bourbon Cask, 108.2 PPM, 59.1% ABV

15.1 will be aged for 5 years in ex-Bourbon barrels, made with Concerto barley and will register a staggering PPM of 108.2!

It is bottled at 59.1% ABV.

Octomore 15.2, 5 Year Old, Bourbon and Cognac Casks, 108.2 PPM, 57.9% ABV

Octomore 15.2 is also aged for 5 years, aged in a combination of ex-Bourbon and CC cask which has been abbreviated for Cognac Casks. This expression was made with Concerto barley as well.

It registers a PPM of 108.2 and is bottled at 57.9% ABV.

Octomore 15.3, 5 Years Old, Bourbon and Oloroso Sherry Cask, 307.2 PPM, 61.3% ABV

Unlike the first two expressions decked in the usual matte black packaging synonymous with Octomore, we have a clear bottle for Octomore 15.3.

15.3 is aged for 5 years in Bourbon and Oloroso casks, made with Concerto barley from Octomore Farm. 

It registers an absolutely mind-bending 307.2 PPM and is bottled at 61.3% ABV.
