Octomore's Edition 17 labels may have already made its way around the web, but it seems like everyone's favourite super heavily peated whisky has one more up its sleeve - the Octomore Edition 17.4!

As a quick refresher, the Octomore 17's include currently:

Octomore 17.1 : 5 Year Old, Concerto barley from the Scottish mainland, peated to 81 ppm, matured in Bourbon casks, bottled at 59.7% ABV.

Octomore 17.2: 5 Year Old, Concerto barley from the Scottish mainland, peated to 81 ppm, matured in Bourbon and Port casks, bottled at 59.5% ABV.

Octomore 17.3: 5 Year Old, Concerto barley from Irene's Field on Octomor Farm, peated to 132.1 ppm, matured in Bourbon, Sauternes, Ribera del Duero, Icewine and Syrah casks, bottled at 60.9% ABV.

And now we have Octomore 17.4 which is aged for 7 Years, made with Concerto barley from the Scottish mainland, and then aged in Oloroso and French Virgin Oak casks and bottled at 57.2% ABV.

This was peated to 108.2 ppm.
