Even with hundreds of Bourbon distilleries, there is but one that lays claim to being America's first bottled Bourbon - and that's Old Forester!

Having been established in 1870, Old Forester has certainly seen the tides of Bourbon go up and down, and through those more than 150 years of history, the distillery has bagged with it numerous firsts - not the least of which holding the first Turtle Derby!

That's all to say, if anyone has something to pay tribute for, Old Forester's a strong contender.

To that end, the distillery appears to be launching a new Tribute Series - what are they paying tribute for? Who knows! And as has been highlighted, there's more than a few things Old Forester could highlight.

Regardless, the debut release for the Old Forester Tribute Series appears to be set for 2026, which will see a 12 Year Old Bourbon bottled at 115 Proof (57.5% ABV).
