Patrón Launches 4-Times Distilled Prestige Tequila in Singapore

Patrón Tequila is making a splash in Singapore with the launch of Patrón El Cielo, its latest innovation in plata tequila (blanco or white tequila). It's the world's first four-times distilled prestige tequila, a process that supposedly unlocks the natural sweet flavours of agave for an unparalleled taste with a bright, fresh, and radiantly smooth finish. This might appeal to new drinkers looking to sip neat tequila for the first time.

Patrón El Cielo's launch party is set to take place at CÉ LA VI Singapore on 22 August 2024, promising a night of celebration and tequila-fueled fun. The festivities kick off at 10PM, with live performances by burlesque dancers, a saxophonist, and DJ Aldrin spinning the decks. The first 100 guests will receive a complimentary PATRÓN shot, and everyone gets a free house pour – a nice touch for those who enjoy a bit of nightlife.

If you're looking to get your hands on a bottle of Patrón El Cielo, packages start at SGD$890. For those who prefer to try it by the glass, it'll set you back SGD$48. And for those who like their tequila in cocktail form, CÉ LA VI will be serving up a selection of expertly crafted concoctions.

So what sets Patrón El Cielo apart from other tequilas? It's made with 100% natural, highest-quality Weber Blue Agave, water, and yeast, and distilled in the smallest copper pot still at Hacienda Patrón. According to Patrón Master Distiller David Rodriguez, although extra distillation processes are often presumed to reduce flavourfulness of a spirit, this is not he case for Patrón El Cielo. Rodriguez explains that the four-times distillation process enhances the natural sweetness and smoothness of the agave. It also took Patrón 150 tasting sessions to perfect the recipe, which suggests a meticulous approach to product development.

The bottle itself is visually striking, with gold designs inspired by the volcanic tahona stone used in production, as well as elements inspired by the agave fields and light of Jalisco, Mexico, the birthplace of Patrón and all tequila. The brand recommends serving Patrón El Cielo over ice with a slice of orange, garnished with an orange peel. Or, if you're feeling adventurous, you could try it in a Patrón El Cielo Margarita or a Paloma.

Patrón El Cielo is certainly generating buzz with its innovative distillation process. If you're looking for a new tequila to try, it might be worth raising a glass to this new addition to the Patrón family! The Patrón El Cielo is now available in Singapore, and also from CÉ LA VI.
